Bridging the Divide To Emotional Wellness: Building and Sustaining a Community-Based Support Program

Do you work or volunteer on the front-lines in your community?  Join the Mental Health Association of RI and the Interfaith Counseling Center to learn the nuts and bolts of how to build a community-based program to support mental well-being in your community. ‘Can We Talk’ is a model trauma healing program initiated in Rhode Island by the Department of Health and the Interfaith Counseling Center. The program offers both a safe space to talk about trauma, loss, and grief, and a connection to professional mental health providers when needed. Learn about how to build a similar program in your neighborhood, faith community, school or agency.
